Memories of a death star
I am what people call a legend, I am what people call a god, I am what people call a demon. People call me many things, I don't care. I know what I am, I'm neither a legend nor a god. I'm a human, a captain. I am the captain of a Death Star! A ship that only the most strongest of men, can set foot on. A ship that only the strongest of men can build. A ship that is as large as a moon and as powerful as a god. A ship that can devour planets, like suns.
In my life, I have experienced many thing. Saw the fall of many empires and kings. Truly, everything has an end. My name is Captain Victor Angelo, people call me the Angel of Death! For so long, I've commanded my Death Star. It's not only my spaceship but also my brother. I've never had a brother, I've never had a family!
I was sent to military when I was just 10. I went through a lot of harsh things but I proved my loyalty...to my empire. I was, if not the best, one of the best men they had. At first, I was just a soldier, then I got my own Scoutship and after that, I was given a Battleship! I can't tell you how excited I was that day! I was given a real Battleship to command and a nice crew.
I was at many important battles, I fought in many wars, I conquered many planets and killed many people. I've killed...not for money...out of hatred...and without a second thought. I've killed, only because I was ordered to kill. Faith was the only thing that was protecting me...the only thing I've had.
Once, our primary system and my home was under attack from unknown forces. I was sleeping in my home that night. And suddenly, the sky turned red that night and people were screaming and running. I ran out to see what happened. A big mothership was in the sky. I knew they weren't human! They were aliens, we didn't know much about them.
Moment after that, all of our spaceship were send out to defend. I was defending the town too. Just two days ago, our empires was working on a top secret project. It was some sort of giant spaceship that could destroy whole planets. It was a Death Star indeed. Those aliens were coming for that!
I ran to my Battleship. That mothership was so powerful, nothing could touch it. It was ripping the whole planet apart. We had to do something. I was contacted by the empire and they told me about the Death Star. They said it's the only thing that can destroy the mothership. They wanted me to command the Death Star and gain victory once more...
I accepted. Finally I got my own Death Star. The planet was falling and I was the last hope. Last hope for the empire, and for the people...I attacked it. Half of our forces was destroyed. I wasn't expecting any help from any one. I just prayed, and went toward the mothership with full power.
After a hard struggle, we were heavily damaged and that mothership was as happy as a clown. Only one more shot, and we were toast. I closed my eyes and thought. Thought about people, they didn't deserve to die like that. Then I made the choice. I traded my life, for the lives of planet. I crashed into the mothership with my Death Star...and then everything gone black.
A month later...I woke up at a hospital. Moments later, my soldiers come inside. They said that people want to see their hero. I asked: What the hell happened? They answered: You saved the planet. I got up and went outside. There were so many people there, and they were waiting to see me!!! It was the best day in my life...
Only I survived that crash. The Death Star was shattered like a glass! I didn't know how I survived that crash. Some...thing...saved me. I don't give a damn about that day, the important thing is that I'm alive and breathing! The empire then, build another Death Star. It nearly took about 5 years!
And finally...they surprised me!!! I was promoted to a Captain...of a Death Star!!! A real damn Death Star! I couldn't imagine that in my whole life. I was so happy, I felt like the most happy man in the world...
So that's how I got my Death Star. That's how my journey started, and that's how I turned into the Angel of Death!
