Ares is back!

It's been a bit since our last blog and thought it was time to get another one out there! There has been some interesting game news and the launch of Ares's second round. Excited? I know I am!

After the successful first round of the Ares speed server the second is dawning. This time it will be longer and has been tweaked for greater enjoyment. Ares's second round launches TOMORROW!

Not only is Ares's second round running for two full months the debris formula has been changed to allow you to collect debris at three times the normal rate as well. If you thought the battles got frantic before, wait till you see them now! As before prizes will be given to the winners including free entry into the new speed server round, free upgrades for your standard account and vouchers for AE's gift store.

Earlier in the week Wizard announced changes to the debris generation formula. For those of you not in the know, the amount of debris created is based on the armour tech level of each player involved in the battle. This new tweak will cause the creation of more debris at lower levels and no change to later levels. So I guess you can have your cake and eat it? Now, on the forums a wee bit back I was asked which country held the most AE players? Well I talked to Wizard and he supplied me with a list of the top twenty countries for AE players (based on which country players selected in their profile).
